Our Vision
The Inaugural Legacy Invite is the flagship event of the Michigan Association of Black Track & Field Coaches — a day built to honor those who came before, celebrate the coaches and athletes competing today, and invest in the next generation.
What It Is
A premier track & field meet that brings together Michigan’s Black coaching community, student-athletes, families, and supporters for competition, recognition, and connection.
Why It Matters
It creates a permanent stage for the inaugural Hall of Fame class, elevates current excellence, and opens pathways — through scholarships, mentorship, and visibility — for those who will carry the sport forward.
The Standard
Excellence on the track. Dignity in the stands. A lasting legacy that outlives any single season.
Our Foundation
Past. Present. Future.
Three pillars. One unbreakable legacy.
02
CELEBRATE THE PRESENT
Right now, coaches across Michigan are shaping champions every day. This is their stage — a premier meet built to showcase the power and excellence of our community.
03
PREPARE THE FUTURE
The next generation is already watching. The Legacy Invite fuels scholarships, mentorship, and opportunity — so the athletes coming up next inherit more than a track. They inherit a legacy.
